EN: Carnival is part of my Weird Fishes series — a body of work where abstraction and emotion merge through rhythm, texture, and movement. In this painting, I explore a state of joyful chaos, a vibrant celebration of color and energy. Layers of enamel and acrylic intertwine like musical notes, creating dynamic gestures that evoke both movement and stillness.
Listening to music while creating the layers was essential; each drip and brushstroke followed an intuitive rhythm, translating sound into visual form. The reds, ochres, and lilacs unfold in dialogue, expressing vitality, transformation, and the constant renewal of life beneath the surface.
This artwork invites the viewer to surrender to the rhythm of abstraction — to experience the dance of color as an emotional symphony. Carnival embodies spontaneity and freedom, capturing the pulse of an inner ocean where imagination and instinct coexist.
