In Equilibrium, I explore the fragile balance that exists between motion and stillness — a state I often sense while painting, as if submerged in an inner ocean. Through layers of enamel and acrylic, I seek to reveal the rhythm that connects all living forms, echoing the silent choreography of underwater life.
The gestures emerge intuitively, guided by music and by a deep fascination with fluid movement. Each brushstroke and drip becomes a pulse, a fragment of a larger emotional current. In this work, I wanted to merge chaos with harmony, instinct with reflection — creating a space where energy and calm can coexist.
Equilibrium is part of my ongoing series Weird Fishes, where I translate the invisible dynamics of nature into a visual symphony. It is both a meditation on balance and a personal dialogue with the unpredictable forces that shape creation itself.
